How would you like to raise $11,325 at your next event in under 5 minutes? At this year’s Camp Kudzu Evening Under the Stars we did just that by adding our 150 Yard Dash to their fundraising program. It’s quick, easy, super fun, and allows your donors to give as little as a $1 to as much as $150, thus allowing and motivating everybody in the room to participate.

Here’s how it works.

Set up four large sign boards, each with the #s $1 to $150 randomized and split up between the 4 boards.
Inspire donors to write their bidder #s under the $ amounts they want to give. Keep in mind, they can fill as many of the squares as they want.
When all 150 squares are filled, you will have raised $11,325!

NOTES:

You can increase or decrease the revenue potential by making this 1 to $100, or up to $300 (or more)!
Consider adding a random prize drawing by pulling a # from the board (1 to whatever your top level is). The random # drawn is your winner! This will incentive your donors to fill more than one square and fill your boards up faster.
Have a sponsor underwrite the cost of the prize and pay for the opportunity to be the exclusive sponsor for this activation. Their sponsorship money will in turn help you raise thousands of dollars!
This is a great way for everyone at the event to make a contribution.
